Is this even a good metric? How should the evolving world of analytics influence our view of metrics? And what about this whole ‘big data’ thing? Speaker: John Blowers
Profile: John Blowers has been a leader in Human Resources for more than 20 years, 2/3 as a practitioner and 1/3 as a consultant. He has worked locally with companies including General Electric, GlobalFoundries, Price Chopper and CG Power. Organizations benefiting from John’s consultancy includes Kellogg, MWV, Constellation Energy, CapComm, SYKES, YouView and the City of Albany. John’s areas of expertise include HR transformation, technology and talent management.
John earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix and an MBA from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. John is also a certified Black Belt in Six Sigma. He currently serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Northeastern NY and is a member of the board of education for Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District.
